  1. I have natural long nails, however I always break one of my nails on my dominant hand right at the length I love.. could I put a moderate layer of polygel, or acrylic on my nail to keep my length structure fortified for long periods of time? I tried gel nail polish n it wasn't strong enough..also tried gel in general n it was hard to work with..help!!

  2. U can custom a duel form to a degree as well u can file the cuticle area to fit better as some of them leave gaps which wud be no good so u have to alter them.
If u had rounded the corners it wud have gone right up to the cuticle. There are also other types of fuel forms that I think are a bit better as Thy give more room to build a structure than the ones u have. Worth having a look and testing a few types x I'm not a fan of them but thought I wud say u can alter end the cuticle for a better fit x

  3. Okay so for the dual form the biggest issue you seem to have is the cuticle area and it not fitting properly and precisely so it leads to the cuticle area being less than desirable. Yes? Okay SO what if you personalized the form itself? Like how you would file or cut a nail tip to fit better. Or press on full cover nails. Youd file and or cut the cuticle area of the fake nail to fit into your cuticle area better and make it look more natural. Could you do that with the dual form? So it would at least help the cutcile area sit flush better! And to top if off, the client would have to come back to you to use those custom forms!! If you clean, sanitize, and save them of course. I would love to see a video of you trying this!!!

  4. I ordered a set of acrylic with the sculpting forms. I'm probably getting them sometime this week. I thought sculpting was easy I did use to do art so I try my best to have a symmetrical pieces in it. So I hope it works for nails. And with me being new at it. I just wanted to try something new. Live on the wild side. I sometimes have a good eye sometimes when it comes to checking if the shape is perfect. I do suck doing stuff with my left hand but I saved almost half your videos to carefully watch to follow instructions.

  5. My only problem with this is your suppose to keep pressure on the dual form when doing it so it prevents that ledge. But she’s old school so of course she will like form better my mom is same way.

  6. I thought dual forms were only for polygel, IMO it’s marketed to people like me who are not professionals, are untrained and who want to do their nails at home..I’d be mad if I went to a salon and thhey used a dual form! I don’t see why people expect Susie to love and praise them! Like she said IF YOU DONT know how to build a nail the dual form is for you.

  7. I don't do my nails cause I'm a guy (not saying guys cant have pretty nails, my job in the military would destroy them lol) but I think I wouldn't like these dual form thingies. Just seems like it doesnt look that nice and is a cop out.

  8. Hi Suzie.

I recently came across your channel.
I Love doing my own nails, I use gel but I am considering the acrylic method.

But what my main concern are – HOW DO I KEEP MY KEEP BRUSH FROM GETTING HARD? –
See as gel needs a UV light to harden my brush does not harden over time.

    I like your videos BTW.

    Keep well
