A very modern take on the early 90’s ‘brown everywhere’ trend which is back with a vengeance this Autumn/Winter. Earthy tones combined with flawless skin, highlighting and sculpting makes this look universally gorgeous and flattering. Hope you like it! x

Disclaimer
I can’t guarantee that all of the make-up and skincare products I recommend will suit you. I only use products I personally think are good having tried them on myself and my clients but everyone’s skin is different and it’s possible to be allergic to anything. Wherever possible, test products out on yourself before purchasing.

I only feature products I like, or want to try. The products I use in these videos are either purchased by me or sent to me by make-up companies to use in my professional capacity as a make-up artist for fashion and celebrity photo shoots, red carpet etc. I am also sent products by many of the top magazines to judge for awards.

I do not accept payment and am not sponsored to make any of the films on this channel. Some of the links under the videos and blog posts on my site are affiliated however and as stated before, I only feature products I like, or want to try.

  1. I love this kind of classic early 90s but using current cosmetics. I wonder how it looks on my Asian face but definitely would want to try this out. I think it's really gorgeous. would like to see more of these classic looks!

  2. You look just like my mom in this video. These colors on you wow. You and my mom have a ton of similarities in color and bone structure, but this was her "look". Just took my breath away. She passed away in 2012, so this was a neat treat watching you and remembering how she looked doing her make up. Thanks!

  3. Lisa, I have to say I am not using make-up at all, I am happy with my face as it is naturally. But everytime I watch any of your video I learn something new and useful. I always enjoy your work, you are an amazing woman!! Lots of love xx

  4. Thank god they are better these days, Bobbi Brown was "the" thing to get at The Bay for makeup and Liz Claiborne for office attire, lol. Better days now ; )
Thanks for the updated look ; 0

  5. I've been on the search for a nice tutorial video on classic nude lips but most that I've come across have been quite saddening because the gurus use really opaque, pigmented swatches that wash out even the palest skin.I've noticed that you frequently use nice understated mauve pinks and taupe browns for your looks and was wondering if you could make a video for a natural lip that isn't ashy but still reminiscent to a softer brown, mauve, and taupe nudes that were really popular back in the 90s
