Thin or uneven lips can be easily corrected with make-up, painful lip augmentation really isnt necessary… its just getting the technique right. Hard lines around the edge are definitely not the way to go!

I can’t guarantee that all of the make-up and skincare products I recommend will suit you. I only use products I personally think are good having tried them on myself and my clients but everyone’s skin is different and it’s possible to be allergic to anything. Wherever possible, test products out on yourself before purchasing.

I only feature products I like, or want to try. The products I use in these videos are either purchased by me or sent to me by make-up companies to use in my professional capacity as a make-up artist for fashion and celebrity photo shoots, red carpet etc. I am also sent products by many of the top magazines to judge for awards.

I do not accept payment and am not sponsored to make any of the films on this channel. Some of the links under the videos and blog posts on my site are affiliated however and as stated before, I only feature products I like, or want to try.

  1. When you're older and you have wrinkles above your upper lip you cannot overline it runs it looks terrible it does not work so you can't do this when you're older but thank you for your video

  2. White girls always wanted to look like black people…flat ass, no lips, no color…they hate their color so so bad..that they will burn up in that scorching hot ass sun to get dark!…call ing us big ass big lips, etc…now you white bitches asses bigger than mine, lips bigger than mine…and getting blacker than me..and now you bitches wearing more weave than us….hmmmm

  3. Hi Lisa! I just discovered your YouTube Channel and love watching your tutorials. I have extremely thin lips and want to use all your suggestions in this video you put up in 2013. Unfortunately, L'Oreal doesn't have the nude lip liner -Always Toasted 708. Have you found a replacement for this nude liner? Out of all the channels I've watched yours is definitely the most informative. Thank you very much! Colleen

  4. Dear Lisa (or dear Lisa's assistant on youtube), I have a very thin top lip and a full bottom lip, and I do this trick to make it fuller, but my overall mouth is quite big (a big wide mouth) and I think I look cartoonish with y bright big mouth. Any suggestions? :l should I focus on my eyes? my eyes are small , heavily hooded and downturned, so I don't tend to focus on them. My nose is also very wide, that's why I feel like a cartoon with makeup. What can I do? I don't wear makeup often, but I really like it 🙁

  5. I think this is actually the most helpful video I've seen for people like me with thin lips. <3 Probably gonna have to watch it a few more times while applying lipstick to see if I can actually master it. I just want smooth lines and full, even lips, god dangit.

  6. Really great job. Looking for a natural nude lip pencil that is the right shade for my lips so will try this one as I have a similar colouring – my lips are thin and on the pale side, one side is thinner (top and bottom) and have a small mouth but will try this – thanks!

  7. Can't thank you enough, Lisa. This method works perfectly for me and what an improvement! I had tried in the past to extend my top lip and ended up looking like a duck! I find your videos extremely helpful. Perhaps you could update your fav foundations video? Five years is a long time and the formulations and colors may have changed.

  8. I don't have foundation, since my skin is nice. Geez… I can't find a makeup tutorial w/ only using eyeshadow, lipliner lipstick or lipgloss mascara and eyeliner. ;-; oh, and my lip is thin too… R.I.P. my prettyness.
