I love yellow! It’s a colour that’s been inspiring me a lot recently in my editorial work
and wardrobe
It’s often a tricky shade to wear on your face, so here’s a video of a wearable way to have fun with this optimistic, happy and creative shade. X

I only feature products I like, or want to try. The products I use in these videos are either purchased by me or sent to me by make-up companies to use in my professional capacity as a make-up artist for fashion and celebrity photo shoots, red carpet etc. I am also sent products by many of the top magazines to judge for awards.

  1. You would think a professional makeup artist would say what undertone goes with what shade of yellow?? Warm undertone? Go for a more "mustardy" yellow. Cool or neutral toned? Go for brighter- ALMOST, not quite, neon. Star in Pastel Goth by KVD would look pretty on someone fair and cool- toned.

  2. I saw a video many many years ago with a similar look and absolutely loved the idea of a yellow eyeshadow. I have been collecting yellow eyeshadows ever since then. I never actually wore them though. lol I just don't know whether it is a good idea for my eye shape.

  3. You always have such beautiful models what an incredible look! I feel like this may be slightly too bold for me right now but thank you for always pushing and inspiring us women to be uniquely ourselves !

  4. I love your videos because you can always see REAL skin texture (regardless of blemished or unblemished skin). It makes me feel like your looks are something I can achieve and that it's okay if the final look isn't absolutely perfect. I always remember you saying throughout your videos over the years, 'we're going for an effect'. Thank you, Lisa.
