This is my first ‘Guest Artist’ video. Charlotte and I spoke about doing something before the summer but it wasnt until after summer holidays and right before New York fashion week at the beginning of September that we were both free to film this! Everyone is so incredibly busy with shoots etc but I hope to have a guest artist every month (or two depending on schedules!). Hope you enjoy!

Disclaimer
I can’t guarantee that all of the make-up and skincare products I recommend will suit you. I only use products I personally think are good having tried them on myself and my clients but everyone’s skin is different and it’s possible to be allergic to anything. Wherever possible, test products out on yourself before purchasing.

I only feature products I like, or want to try. The products I use in these videos are either purchased by me or sent to me by make-up companies to use in my professional capacity as a make-up artist for fashion and celebrity photo shoots, red carpet etc. I am also sent products by many of the top magazines to judge for awards.

I do not accept payment and am not sponsored to make any of the films on this channel. Some of the links under the videos and blog posts on my site are affiliated however and as stated before, I only feature products I like, or want to try.

  1. It's great to see Lisa and Charlotte don't automatically slap on concealer…. I am a bit older than you two and it's nice to see sensible but stunning makeup! I don't know why everyone just layers on concealer just because… it is called concealer as you use it to hide blemishes.
I just love seeing beautiful skin being visible! I have got to the point where I have to avoid anything drying and this is great!

  2. The model is already perfect,i wish to see such a video with normal and even older women 40-55 years. This doesnt tell me anything, about her profession .
    O and without any filter.

  3. This was such a joy to watch!  I absolutely love this channel where you can see professional makeup artists do their work.  It is like watching an artist create her/his masterpiece right in front of your eyes.  Thank you Lisa!  I appreciate your channel very much.

  4. I didn't notice the first time I watched this (yes I've watched this a few time haha) but I noticed that the simple off white liner on the waterline does most of the work making her gorgeous dark eyes pop out at you, I think it's amazing that such a small small detail can make such a big contrast and difference, especially with the models deep chocolate eyes and the dark eyeshadow. That's the kind of thing that sets tillbury and eldridge apart and it's by definition genius!

  5. When one video in 2012 is more satisfying then 100 others in current time. This is how certain old school techniques should be applied – high coverage concealer, cream contouring & highlight, overlining of lips, gradient eyebrows, and warm smokey eye look. So soft yet so effective in correcting flaws and enhancing features.

  6. You pretty much have to have flawless skin and sharp facial feature already to pull off this look. I don't think it's a universally flattering look but she's absolutely beautiful and this is a good look on her, on naturally sculpted faces generally.
