For Part 2 of this series – A beginners guide to strip lashes click here:
Individual lashes give a very different feel to strip lashes because they are less uniform so the effect is more random, feathery and natural looking. You can achieve different effects depending on how many you apply and which lengths you use. I love using them on my clients and myself and hope these application tips will inspire you to give them a go too. To remove, soak a cotton wool pad in eye make-up remover and hold flat over your eye firmly for several seconds. The remover will loosen and dissolve the glue. Repeat if necessary and then continue with the rest of your cleansing routine.

I can’t guarantee that all of the make-up and skincare products I recommend will suit you. I only use products I personally think are good having tried them on myself and my clients but everyone's skin is different and it's possible to be allergic to anything. Wherever possible, test products out on yourself before purchasing.
I only feature products I like, or want to try. The products I use in these videos are either purchased by me or sent to me by make-up companies to use in my professional capacity as a make-up artist for fashion and celebrity photo shoots, red carpet etc. I am also sent products by many of the top magazines to judge for awards.
I do not accept payment and am not sponsored to make any of the films on this channel. Some of the links under the videos and blog posts on my site are affiliated however and as stated before, I only feature products I like, or want to try.

Can you clean them and reuse them?
Thank you, that was very helpful! I tried using them today and they all fell off when I tried to apply mascara, so I think this will help me figure out where I went wrong when I try again tomorrow.
is it bad that ive been a makeup artist for 7 years and I didn't know that individuals were meant to go ON the lash and not at the lash line?????
They are great, a little scary to start with the individual ones. I am 56 and never used fake eye lashes, mine used to be quite long but now they are not and the skin on the corner of my eyes gets red and raw kind of and can't use mascara or powder eye shadow and even though I only use makeup once a week still I get irritation. Thank you Lisa, I think I will try it.
Wow!! Amazing tutorial!!!!
I did it! My lashes are actual a nice length and look even fuller and longer with mascara. But for fun I wanted to add some length to the outer edges for a bit of daytime glam. Thanks for the tutorial!
this woman is gorgeous wow
i've always heard that you're supposed to glue them on the skin. which is completely against my instinct and why i have trouble sometimes. but to glue them on the lashes? looks great i'm doing that now
I don't have much time in the mornings so is it bad when I apply them the night before and sleep in them ?
Lisa please i have a doubt, and i need to know the answer quickly ( its an emergency) the glue become translucent ( invisible) when It drys? Sorry please my bad english, im from Argentina and a Big fan of you!! Kisses
My lashes curl upward naturally, which makes it hard to apply false lashes that are straighter. What can I do? I really want to learn this technique! Thanks for another lovely video!
i dont understand the dislikes
hello, love your videos! one question, how do you remove individual lashes ?
Those are NOT individual lashes, they are CLUSTER LASHES!
why is it best to attach falsies to the lashes instead of skin?
You look like Monica Baluchi
I have a video on this as well please check it out ❤️small youtuber!
HOW LONG DO THEY STAY IF YOU DONT WEAR ANY MAKEUP???
What's the best way to remove the false ones from your lashes without tugging at them? (From past experience it tends to pull my real lashes out a lot)
your thoughts are always so precise and well put together. I learn something new with every tutorial (and believe me I've seen them all). Sometimes I go back and watch them again and pick something up I missed before. You are soooo talented and such an inspiration. #loveyoulisa
Are individual lashes reusable?
what kind of glue would you recommend that lasts for a couple of days?
she is stunnin!!!
Am I the only one who dont like at all the individual eyelashes effect? At least in this video? I think it causes like a crazyeye look and scruffy effect. Thank you for your work Lisa, I just want to know it, really.
First time I tried to put on fake eyelashes (not the individual ones) I stuck them to my own eyelashes and I really swore afterwards when trying to take them off. My question is, therefore (more of a confirmation question), is this DUO glue better? I mean, won't it pull on your own lashes when you try to take the fake ones off like other glues?
