This short film contains footage of a beauty shoot I did featuring models from 3 different age groups. The pictures were to illustrate a feature on beauty products for different age ranges. The girls had to look absolutely fresh and glowing.. almost like they had just had a facial and the make-up needed to reflect this.

In addition to this, we had to shoot a party picture but only had five minutes to change the make-up. As my philosophy on day to night make-up has always been ‘Add One Thing' I felt a bright pink lip was definitely the way to go. With lighter nights and warm evenings there are a lot more opportunities to go out after work in the summer.

I can’t guarantee that all of the make-up and skincare products I recommend will suit you. I only use products I personally think are good having tried them on myself and my clients but everyone's skin is different and it's possible to be allergic to anything. Wherever possible, test products out on yourself before purchasing.

I only feature products I like, or want to try. The products I use in these videos are either purchased by me or sent to me by make-up companies to use in my professional capacity as a make-up artist for fashion and celebrity photo shoots, red carpet etc. I am also sent products by many of the top magazines to judge for awards.

I do not accept payment and am not sponsored to make any of the films on this channel. Some of the links under the videos and blog posts on my site are affiliated however and as stated before, I only feature products I like, or want to try.

  1. Hi Lisa, I am a huge fan and was lucky enough to be able to get all 3 of your lipsticks! I love them all. I have a question: I am wearing a sequined dress for NYE and I want to do soft hair and make-up as a contrast. Which one of your tutorials would you recommend?

  2. Bring back the velvets! I HAVE TRIED TONS of red lipsticks kn my life. Borgesia made one back on the 80s, but no more and K really haven't foundation red since. I watch makeovers and when the artist put them on and explained how she saw them, I just knew those were ALl colors that would work for me. I went straight to your site to buy and imagine my disappointment. From all the comments it looks like these colors would have permanent buyers. PLEASE bring them back to stay would be best!!!!. Because I have very hooded eyes I focus on lipstick color. As I will be 58 ugggg next week, my lips have thinned as well. So without your wonderful colors what am I to do to keep looking younger than I am and achieve an unflawed makeup regime? Yes, that was some begging thrown in!!!!

  3. Hi Lisa,

    I love your videos. I buy so many of your recommendations. I love skincare and beauty and shiny things. I live in Colorado. I’m a teacher and we are close in age. I love everything in your list but my top three are your beautiful rings, the makeup mirror, and the Primark skincare. Merry Christmas.

  4. Lisa, let us please please know, what is your opinion about the collagen drinks and hyaluronic acid or Q10 pills. You are helping and inspiring us all bare faced – revealing your amazing findings. We are all shy to ask, but have you ever give a chance to some magic injections? Is your skin evolution truly all about daily facial massage, smart masks and Nuface – and lucky genes? We would love a video about it….

  5. Greetings to every one that is reading this testimony. I have been rejected by my wife after three(3) years of marriage just because another Man had a spell on her and she left me and the kid to suffer. one day when i was reading through the web, i saw a post on how this spell caster on this address:, have help a Man to get back his wife and i gave him a reply to his address and he told me that a Man had a spell on my wife and he told me that he will help me and after 2 days that i will have my wife back. i believed him and today i am glad to let you all know that this spell caster have the power to bring lovers back, because i am now happy with my wife. Thanks for you Sir,his email: or contact him on his website;

  6. I agree we work hard for our salary, and we should spend it as we desire. I just would like honesty from the cosmetic industry so we can make educated decisions. A little price point honesty on their behalf would be nice, too. We pay way too much for basic formulations that do not live up to their fancy claims. That is why I do my own formulating, at least I know the efficacy of my cosmetics, and their safety.

  7. I said nothing about foundation or application techniques so…??? I love her talent. I take issue with the fact that Lisa chooses to look the other way and not take responsibility for the fact that the companies whose checks she is cashing are paying her with advertising funds that perpetuate the lie being spread to us the consumer. So in that sense she is a part of the problem.
