i have a question.. do you press or melt your lipsticks into the palette? does melting cause any damages to the properties of the lipstick? is in anyway possible that a plastic palette transfers toxins to the melted/heated lipstick? i am having these doubts for a while!

lisa, have you tried the new mac pro single palettes? i just think they look so sleek and chic esp. with the see through cover and removable inserts.
i jut ordered mine and can't wait to transfer my lipsticks in them. i love to mix and match and play around with the colors! 🙂

You would think that the make up companies would cotton to this and make their own make up palettes and not just the ones you can get at Christmas time. I would definitely buy a lipstick palette if I saw one at Boots or Superdrug.

thats y u need to invest in VERY GOOD palettes. japonesque makes wonderful ones but they are pretty expensive
what do you squash the lipsticks into the pan with?
I love the look and ease factor of lipstick palettes, but do you, or anyone else, find that a lot of lipstick is wasted when the palette breaks, ect?
Have you experienced any drying out of the lipsticks in these palettes?

You only need to put half the bullet (maximum) in the pan. Save the other half so you can take the colour out with you in your handbag x
