Disclaimer
I can’t guarantee that all of the make-up and skincare products I recommend will suit you. I only use products I personally think are good having tried them on myself and my clients but everyone’s skin is different and it’s possible to be allergic to anything. Wherever possible, test products out on yourself before purchasing.

I only feature products I like, or want to try. The products I use in these videos are either purchased by me or sent to me by make-up companies to use in my professional capacity as a make-up artist for fashion and celebrity photo shoots, red carpet etc. I am also sent products by many of the top magazines to judge for awards.

I do not accept payment and am not sponsored to make any of the films on this channel. Some of the links under the videos and blog posts on my site are affiliated however and as stated before, I only feature products I like, or want to try.

  1. There are several things for treating blushing naturally
    1) Stop doing it by relaxing your body. When you blush, you can quickly help fade the redness by relaxing your muscles, particularly in your neck and shoulders
    2) Don't focus on blushing. Many people focus on their blushing when it happens, worsening their social anxiety.
    3) Consider being open about why you are blushing. If a person's on a date and they do something incredibly awkward, one way that they'll save the situation is by calling attention to it: Wow Bradley that was clumsy!
    4) Try rehearsing thought exercises. In order to help you feel both cooler as in physically colder, but also street-wise and to distract you from the blushing itself, try several thought exercises. E.g. thinking of Goosebumps moments
(I learned these and why they work on Zavrina Blush Treater website )

  2. Does anybody have a good recommendation for a red blotch with a cool undertone in a cream formation? I really prefer a cream blush and I'm having a hard time finding a nice cream blush that is in the red family but not too Orange but just a nice classic red blush

  3. Lisa Revlon has discontinued the bright flushed Revlon photoready in the us now. I like the consistency for less dewy effect I bought literally 42 and put them in the freezer if you ever need one I have plenty .liquifuchia is my favorite bright cream blush but I use a silicone powder like the one by mall roncal to take the shine down and it gives that lit from within look that you get from applying color before foundation but I never get the exact placement and payoff if I apply foundation over it so I found a silicone powder pressed over it melds it into skin for that in the skin look instead of on the skin.have you ever tried applying blush higher up like almost where you'd highlight and blending edges with a fan up to the under eye.I find with any client with some age on them it really lifts the face and dotting a face gloss over or illuminator it gives a juicy fresh  cheek.if I put color on apples of cheek on many people when they smile the apple is high but when they stop smiling you end up with color near the nose .

  4. HI, Lisa. Just watched this video and am wondering if you found the Revlon "Flushed" blush? If not, it is currently on sale as Walgreens.com, buy one, get one half off.  PS – love all of your videos !!

  5. I have dry skin so cream blushes work best on me, but I'm having an awful time finding a setting powder for my face as once I have makeup on my face gets shiney even though I have very dry skin, can you recommend one please?

  6. Some nice drugstore brands are Maybelline Face Studio Master Glaze, and Joe Fresh cream blush. The Joe Fresh is amazing whipped texture that is highly pigmented. Love it!

  7. Hi Lisa, I've seen this "strobing" makeup technique all over the net today. I definitely prefer the look it rather than contouring.  Could you please consider doing a tutorial for it that covers great highlighter products? I have very fair, cool-toned skin and usually even a little bit of highlighter looks just that bit too unnatural on me. I love the natural glow, non-contoured look but I can't get the hang of making it look natural rather than oily!

  8. Hello +Lisa Eldridge!  Absolutely love your work/videos…met you at Selfridges with Charlotte Tilbury and Mary Greenwell…fantastic evening!  'Flushed' is still available at my local store (Canada)…but 'unavailable from warehouse'…so FYI looks like it's on its way to being discontinued here as well.  Happy to pick a few up and post them to you if you don't get time to grab any in NYC.  Safe travels x
