I can’t guarantee that all of the make-up and skincare products I recommend will suit you. I only use products I personally think are good having tried them on myself and my clients but everyone’s skin is different and it’s possible to be allergic to anything. Wherever possible, test products out on yourself before purchasing.

I only feature products I like, or want to try. The products I use in these videos are either purchased by me or sent to me by make-up companies to use in my professional capacity as a make-up artist for fashion and celebrity photo shoots, red carpet etc. I am also sent products by many of the top magazines to judge for awards.

I do not accept payment and am not sponsored to make any of the films on this channel. Some of the links under the videos and blog posts on my site are affiliated however and as stated before, I only feature products I like, or want to try.

  1. Is there a difference between how you'd approach freckles and pigmentation? In summer i get a very blended freckly look – which can look 'dirty' if i try to cover it, plus i hate the feel of foundation. Would love advise on how much to cover

  2. Just found your channel. What a difference between so many other YouTube make up gurus….so glad to see some people don’t buy into the “more is better” make up look. Some of these young women just pile it onto their otherwise beautiful faces like masks.

  3. Hi Lisa, I've been trying to avoid using foundation and powder recently for a more natural, glowy look. I've got okay skin (but a bit on the dry side) except I have red pigmentation on my cheeks and near my jaw. Can you give any advice on how I can use a tinted moisturiser but still cover up the redness, if that's possible? Thanks xx

  4. I have red around my nose, lilac under my eyes. It seems to work, somehow. I tame the red but leave the blue because its so deep, it looks fake if I conceal fully. Better to have my true face.

  5. Thank you for sharing. I very much enjoyed it and learned a lot. Please consider make by the under eye correcting/concealing video. I really appreciate you teaching about oily and dry skin and which products to use for each. I have really dry skin.

  6. Lisa probably won't see this but if anyone has any suggestions they would be welcome! I'm looking for a foundation which is quite sheer to medium coverage (not heavy at all), and really has the "your skin but better" look. Also, would preferably like a dewy finish, as opposed to completely matte. Don't mind paying reasonably high end if it will be a good investment – anyone have any ideas? Thank you!!

  7. Greetings!!! I love your videos, they're very informative and interesting. My makeup routine has to be changed. I'm 54, sensitive skin with some redness. After my forties, my pores became much more noticeable, a bit of redness here and there, and believe it or not I sometimes still will get a spot at my age. What is the best thing to use on my skin for these problems

  8. amazing video!!!!
when i feel i NEED to use foundation… I mix it with a moisturizer before and then Iapply it. looks more natural and even… when I use moisture and foundation after (separated) … it looks like a mask.

  9. Hello Lisa,
I absolutely love your videos. And all your suggestions are so useful. Could you please make a video on Brown Colour skin so that prople who are from different ethnicity could relate more.
