  1. I love fragrances, too. I need a special scent every day that mixes well with my mood at that moment to either complement or change it. I love Chanel No. 5 Eau de parfum (the Eau De Toilette doesn't smell anything like it), Tom Ford Oud Wood and Velvet Orchid, but also Dior J'adore. The ones that are most special to me are Dior Grand Bal and Floris Wedding Bouquet.

  2. Love perfumes! We have a similar taste in more niche-y, sweet notes. Especially amber! Recently I've been into oriental notes as well such as neroli. I use the essential oil mixed into my body oil and it smells intoxicating. It's very different kind of sexy more "green" than gourmand. It layers very nicely with Olympia (intense)by Pacco Robanne. The dry down is so delicious and lasts a very long time. I would recommend this to anyone that likes Alien by Mugler. Not a big fan of Marc Jacobs perfumes but I recently purchased "Decadence" and omg would also recommend this!! Next on the wish list is "Black Orchid" by Tom Ford 😛

  3. Thank you for sharing your collection! Personally I don't have a large collection, I always try to buy samples/decants and see if I can finish them, then I will proceed to buy the full sized bottle. Otherwise it will just be an untouched waste of space/money. My recent favorites are Serge Lutens A La Nuit (green, dirty, indolic tinged, animalic jasmine) and La Fille de Berlin (dark, smoky, peppery rose with a musk base, at least to my nose). While A La Nuit calls for a scene of a jasmine garden blooming at night, La Fille de Berlin is a big bouquet of dark red roses that smells very expensive.

  4. love fragrance vids. l love naturally sweet smells – a perfumery called Mad et Len makes a really nice smoky close to skin vanilla called no. iv bourbon vanille . do try! L'artisan parfumeur's merchant loop is the king of gourmet fragrances to me it has hazelnut, licorice , honey and mirth in it.

  5. I really recommend Elizabeth and James Nirvana Bourbon for a great sweater weather perfume. It has notes of tuberose, oakwood and bourbon vanilla and smelling it immediately transports me to my favourite attic library in Iceland

  6. I'm shocked to hear I'm not the only one who gets a nauseated feeling after wearing fig perfumes a while. That's incredible to me. Also, love your collection. Very interesting and unexpected.
