  1. I tend to use Nivea Soft or Petrolium Jelly on the spots around my mouth because they tend to stick around because of all my extra skin oils and the excessive hair that grows, it may seem counterproductive to use it for oily skin but it works because first i wash my face with hot water and i give it a good wash, i wash it, dry it then wash it again, dry it then put the patrolium jelly thinly all around my chin, around my mouth and then up the side of my nose on my cheeks because i always see the tiniest under spots around there, they soon go away andd aren't usually anything to worry about but i can get a pretty big spot forming on one of my cheeks every now and then, but for me just washing my face with hot water to clean the oils off or with a cheap Tea Tree Face Wash it helps from any forming too much, it's mainly the oils that clog my pours too much.

I don't like to put Petrolium Jelly on my lips though because it dries them out, my lips react totally different to my skin. I put the Petrolium Jelly on in the evening and just do whatever letting it do it's thing because it does take a while, and then before i go to sleep i wipe off whatevers still there then whatever teeny tiny bit of residue there is left i just leave, it's no biggie because it will slow down the formation of oils since it acts as a barrier, that seems to work really well on my skin keeping the oils at bay as much as i possible can do since that's the problem, even if Petrolium Jelly is oily it really helps neverless because it gives time for my skin to heal the spots on it's own. I really like this look too i may try it at some point, i've never gone into any eyeshadows really except browns and light pinks, i think purples would suit be nicely.

  2. I think my favorite thing about watching Lisa is listening to the sound of the brushes lightly rattling, or the brushes hitting her rings or just the noise her rings make as she gently and seemingly effortlessly creates these elegant looks.

  3. how amazing! this tutorial came on my 40th birthday and this is THE perfect look for me, as well! LOVE this berry tone in cheeky combination with the copper line. You seriously are the best….which we all know in the meantime :-*

  4. Lisa (or anyone who knows), you mentioned in the description box that the Nars velvet matte lip pencil is an alternative for the Maybelline one, which shade would that be? Thanks for the lovely video.

  5. Ok, you used a 10 in the Chanel? I've considered it because I'm looking for a powder with some coverage. I can't get to a counter to swatch. I'm light, but more yellow. I ask because the numbering in the les beiges powders have been a bit confusing. I would have thought you and me would have been a 20.

  6. I think a red-violet makeup look could be another Autumn/Winter look you could do. to me I think that most people always use purple shades that are too blue based instead of red based for Fall. When I think of Fall I always think of more red based purple, not blue based. I think of the color of red grapes, that's a great example of a beautiful red-violet shade for fall. 🙂

  7. Hello Lisa, I LOVE your tutorials – so calming 🙂
is the Laura Mercier – Secret Camouflage also suitable for (normal to) dry skin for concealing small spots? Thanks 🙂

  8. You mention that with plum toned eyeshadows, bluish undereye circles and spots will stand out much more. Given the season and the fact that so many women have this problem, it would be incredibly helpful if you would provide a tutorial of how to properly address these issues. This past year has seen such a dramatic shift in new formulations that it would be great if you would provide some product recommendations, particularly for mature skin. I hope you read this! Thank you!
