I tend to use Nivea Soft or Petrolium Jelly on the spots around my mouth because they tend to stick around because of all my extra skin oils and the excessive hair that grows, it may seem counterproductive to use it for oily skin but it works because first i wash my face with hot water and i give it a good wash, i wash it, dry it then wash it again, dry it then put the patrolium jelly thinly all around my chin, around my mouth and then up the side of my nose on my cheeks because i always see the tiniest under spots around there, they soon go away andd aren't usually anything to worry about but i can get a pretty big spot forming on one of my cheeks every now and then, but for me just washing my face with hot water to clean the oils off or with a cheap Tea Tree Face Wash it helps from any forming too much, it's mainly the oils that clog my pours too much.
I don't like to put Petrolium Jelly on my lips though because it dries them out, my lips react totally different to my skin. I put the Petrolium Jelly on in the evening and just do whatever letting it do it's thing because it does take a while, and then before i go to sleep i wipe off whatevers still there then whatever teeny tiny bit of residue there is left i just leave, it's no biggie because it will slow down the formation of oils since it acts as a barrier, that seems to work really well on my skin keeping the oils at bay as much as i possible can do since that's the problem, even if Petrolium Jelly is oily it really helps neverless because it gives time for my skin to heal the spots on it's own. I really like this look too i may try it at some point, i've never gone into any eyeshadows really except browns and light pinks, i think purples would suit be nicely.
Perversion is my favorite mascara!!! Discovered it a bit ago and LOVE It. I don’t use it when i want a more natural look because its definitely not that.
This look is amazing… And I love your nails!!!
Lovely! I love it.
I think my favorite thing about watching Lisa is listening to the sound of the brushes lightly rattling, or the brushes hitting her rings or just the noise her rings make as she gently and seemingly effortlessly creates these elegant looks.
P.S. any suggestions for undereye concealer for " mature" under eyes with dark circles and a deep trough but not too dry or greasy?
Love this look! You know what you are talking about! Your looks are always chic and not overdone! Thanks so much for sharing ur talent
Anyone know what colour shade the Maybelline colour stick was for lips? X
That first eye product sounds horrendous!!!!
Another gorgeous make up look 🙂 makes me want to play with make up right now.. Soo I think I am going to try to recreate it right now
how amazing! this tutorial came on my 40th birthday and this is THE perfect look for me, as well! LOVE this berry tone in cheeky combination with the copper line. You seriously are the best….which we all know in the meantime :-*
A darker bronze or bronze/brown eyeliner would look more subtle. And it looks like you have no foundation on your forehead. What the heck?
Stunning!!!!!! "Dramarama…" Love that!!
Beautiful!
Thank you, Lisa for this new inspiration! Before this video, I have no idea that we can actually wear eyeliner this way. You are a great teacher.
You are so beautiful all Colors look good on you !
This is the coolest look! I am late seeing this one but am going to try it out very soon. You look so lovely in these pretty berry colors. xo
So beautiful and sophisticated. Love your work, Lisa 🙂
great video but on your next videouse your American English voice! woo-hoo!
Lisa (or anyone who knows), you mentioned in the description box that the Nars velvet matte lip pencil is an alternative for the Maybelline one, which shade would that be? Thanks for the lovely video.
Lisa, I suffer from acne. Do you recommend the "secret camouflage" concealer for acne spots? Thanks x.
one of my most favourite looks !
one of my most favourite looks !
Love it Norma
I think this is one of my favorites you have ever done.
Ok, you used a 10 in the Chanel? I've considered it because I'm looking for a powder with some coverage. I can't get to a counter to swatch. I'm light, but more yellow. I ask because the numbering in the les beiges powders have been a bit confusing. I would have thought you and me would have been a 20.
I really love your make up technique!
the metallic eye pencil is a new trick for me. thanks for posting!
loveee your channel/makeup looks!!You're so calming to watch ha beautiful 🙂
I think a red-violet makeup look could be another Autumn/Winter look you could do. to me I think that most people always use purple shades that are too blue based instead of red based for Fall. When I think of Fall I always think of more red based purple, not blue based. I think of the color of red grapes, that's a great example of a beautiful red-violet shade for fall. 🙂
prettiest fall makeup i see! definitely doing this tomorrow. Thank you Lisa
Hello Lisa, I LOVE your tutorials – so calming 🙂
is the Laura Mercier – Secret Camouflage also suitable for (normal to) dry skin for concealing small spots? Thanks 🙂
Hi,
I love the light color on top lashline, for severely hooded eyes, should I stay away from this?
Thank you for all your videos, love them all.
Love this tutorial madly! Just gorgeous combination of colours! Thanks a lot, Lisa!
You mention that with plum toned eyeshadows, bluish undereye circles and spots will stand out much more. Given the season and the fact that so many women have this problem, it would be incredibly helpful if you would provide a tutorial of how to properly address these issues. This past year has seen such a dramatic shift in new formulations that it would be great if you would provide some product recommendations, particularly for mature skin. I hope you read this! Thank you!
