I’m feeling overwhelmed by the volume of makeup products launching daily (let me know on Instagram if you are feeling it too!) and just wanted to create an everyday look using mainly ‘old faithful’ products. x

Disclaimer
I can’t guarantee that all of the make-up and skincare products I recommend will suit you. I only use products I personally think are good having tried them on myself and my clients but everyone’s skin is different and it’s possible to be allergic to anything. Wherever possible, test products out on yourself before purchasing.
I only feature products I like, or want to try. The products I use in these videos are either purchased by me or sent to me by make-up companies to use in my professional capacity as a make-up artist for fashion and celebrity photo shoots, red carpet etc. I am also sent products by many of the top magazines to judge for awards.
I do not accept payment and am not sponsored to make any of the films on this channel. Some of the links under the videos and blog posts on my site are affiliated however and as stated before, I only feature products I like, or want to try.

  1. So right. The only buying I've been doing lately has been the eyeshadows from my favorite brand. I received a sample of a foundation I'd never tried before and I really love it. I still haven't bought it because I have far too many foundations as is. I'm not a makeup artist, I don't need all of the foundations lol. It's difficult to remember sometimes.

  2. My sister called me Amy March (from Little Women) for even mentioning sleeping on my back to avoid vertical face creases. Thank you for showing that you don't have to be self-absorbed and shallow to care about how you look.

  3. I change my mascara regularly after rubbing my lashes on my son's microscope glass slide. The glass looked clean to the naked eye, but under magnification, there was wildlife! That's what I put into my mascara to party and breed!

  4. Love, love, love…and agree totally! I'm trying to be more of a minimalist. My problem is that I will buy something and after trying it out, I'll decide I don't like it (ie. blushes that are too dark) haha. I keep it all since it's still new and good quality. Would love to see you do a video on how to turn purchase fails into wins.

  5. Once in a generation, maybe less, an artist is born, it could be anywhere in the world. An artist who can bend the matter to its will, breaking the conventions, hypnotizing. I believe that Lisa from UK is the one we got in this era for makeup art.

  6. When you made this video I was on a six month break from YT and any other makeup advertisement. I bought hardly anything.. and was able to really work on decluttering my collection. I actually wound up wearing a very minimal number of products on a daily basis and was perfectly content. The minute I picked up YT again.. the buying started. It's mind control essentially.

  7. This is one of the best initiatives I've seen this days, I'm also overwhelmed by so many products and also concerned about planet trash and plastic waste and all that so it is great if you use this platform to raise conscience about that! Bravo
