I can’t guarantee that all of the make-up and skincare products I recommend will suit you. I only use products I personally think are good having tried them on myself and my clients but everyone’s skin is different and it’s possible to be allergic to anything. Wherever possible, test products out on yourself before purchasing.

I only feature products I like, or want to try. The products I use in these videos are either purchased by me or sent to me by make-up companies to use in my professional capacity as a make-up artist for fashion and celebrity photo shoots, red carpet etc. I am also sent products by many of the top magazines to judge for awards.

I do not accept payment and am not sponsored to make any of the films on this channel. Some of the links under the videos and blog posts on my site are affiliated however and as stated before, I only feature products I like, or want to try.

  1. You're fantastic. I love how calm and sophisticated you are when delivering information. I've gotten inspired so much from you. Please do more this type of video and also makeup on hooded Asian eyes. Again, love you!

  2. Thank you Lisa for the recommendations. However, I always have difficulty applying gel or liquid formulas and have never managed a successful cat-eye look. Can you recommend some gel/liquid eyeliners or brushes which can help beginners in achieving a cat-eye look easily? I was interested in Mac for example but when I read reviews online the majoirty say that they do not recommend them to beginners, so I would really appreciate if you can do a video or link me to a previous video where you dealt with such issue.

  3. I really love this new series! I would love to see some of your recommendation of the "kit must haves" foundations that include both high-street/drugstore brands and department brands.

  4. Hi Lisa,
I just have a question regarding the pen style liquid liners.
How do you keep the felt tip liners sanitary for each client with out constantly using alcohol to ruin the tip?
    Thanks in advance. 🙂

  5. I have used both Mac Blacktrack and Maybelline gel eyeliner, and I have to say that the Maybelline wins hands down for me and at a fraction of the price. Much blacker and goes on better.

  6. Lisa,
Would you consider doing a video on tightlining technique, explaining when or who would be a good candidate to use this technique. I noticed you used it on Jiin Jiang in your video on an office appropriate makeup look, but I've never seen you use it on any other video. Is it because of the shape of her eyes that you felt this would work best? I am Asian and I have hooded eyes but I do not have a monolid. Thank you

  7. Lisa, could you please do a video on sensitive eyes and how to deal with that problem as a makeup artist? It would be great and so handy to learn tips and tricks from you on the subject. Love your videos and you are my inspiration! 🙂 :*
