Rainbow Locks
If you already have a head of nice, long hair – or if you’re looking for a way to grow your hair out – this hairstyle is perfect! Rainbow locks are super easy to achieve, and they’re oh-so-fun. To get these colorful locks, all you need is a few dyes and some patience. Pick two to three colors that span the rainbow for this look.
First, create a deep side part all the way from ear to ear. This will be where you’ll apply the first color of dye. Then, start at the front of your head and make a series of bobby pin coils all the way down to the back of your head. Once finished with your first color, repeat this process with two more colors to create an ombre effect. All that’s left is some time for drying!
Gradient Ombré
One of our favorite ways to add a pop of color is with a gradient ombré look. It’s an easy way to add a rainbow effect without going too bright, and the ombre makes for a beautiful contrast against your skin tone.
Start by creating a deep side part on the right side of your head, then section off the left half of your hair from ear to ear. Leave some wispy pieces in the front to frame your face. Apply a lightener at the root of one side and gradually darken it up until you reach about mid-shaft.
Next, apply the lightener again at the root but this time, start darker from mid-shaft down to the ends. Follow up with an all-over conditioner and finish off with some heat protection spray and hairspray (a MUST).
A little tip: if you’re looking for something extra-special or more dramatic, try adding in highlights or lowlights at different levels while you’re cross-sectioning.
Blue Bob
This blue bob is light and breezy with a touch of natural waves. This style is perfect for those who want to look bright and cheerful without too much effort.
The best part about this look? It’s easy to recreate on your own! Simply cut your hair to shoulder-length, curl it under, apply some texturizing cream, and voila! You have your new favorite hairstyle.
Pink Ombre
The perfect color for when you need to feel happy and refreshed! This light, pastel pink ombre is so feminine and goes well with darker hair colors.
To get this look, all you need are some good-quality hair extensions in the desired shade of pink. Then, ask your stylist to add some highlights near the roots of your natural hair. The final result will be a seamless transition from dark brown to light pink.
Golden Waves
Warm, wavy locks are perfect for a romantic date night. Pair this look with silky waves, and you’ll be the talk of the town!
To get this look, start by pulling your hair back into a high ponytail, securing it at the top of your head. Rub styling cream through your hair to give it shine and texture. When you’re ready, release your ponytail and let your hair fall throughout your shoulders. Then, use a curling iron or flat iron to curl small sections of hair around your face for that final touch of glamour.
Purple Brows
For those looking for a subtle change, we recommend opting for purple brows. This color is perfect if you’re feeling shy and want to bring out your eyes without too much attention.
It’s great for everyday wear and will liven up your face with its subtle hue. You can do this by either dying your eyebrows or using a tinted brow gel.
No matter what your level of expertise, you’ll be able to recreate this look at home. If you want to save some time, you can purchase pre-colored eyebrow gels instead of dying them yourself. These are readily available at most beauty supply stores!
Brown Roots, Purple Tips
This colorful hairstyle is one of the most popular right now. The brown roots contrast with the purple tips for a dynamic look.
To get this style, ask your stylist to use a color like Pravana Vivids Purple or Manic Panic Virgin Snow to apply to your ends and temples. Or you could use a semi-permanent dye like Pravana Chromasilk Royal Violet and manually apply it to your hair using gloves and an applicator brush.
Green Tresses
This lush green color is a great way to make your hair stand out from the crowd. And if you aren’t feeling a vibrant green, it can be toned down with a brown or a blonde base. The result? A perfect pastel hue that will take your look from drab to fab in seconds!
Silver Haze
Fun fact: Silver is the most popular color for weddings. It symbolizes purity, cleanliness, and dignity. And that’s why it makes sense to try out this hairstyle!
While the look is best for naturally curly hair, you can also recreate it with wavy or straight locks. To get this look, start by curling your hair to have loose waves. If you have straight hair, use a curling iron to achieve the same effect. Next, shake your head so your hair falls down and whips back up. Create an updo by gathering your hair at the nape of your neck and securing it with bobby pins or clips. Finally, tuck hair strands behind your ears for a more finished look.
Baby Pink Hair
If you’re looking for a fun and flirty look, try the baby pink hair trend. To get this style, take your favorite color of temporary hair dye and paint it onto your hair from root to tip. Let it sit for only 20 minutes before washing out the color. We love how this hairstyle brings out your natural skin tone and gives off a sweet and feminine vibe (plus, it’s easy to do!).
